About

The About dialog allows you to check the software version, install application updates, and displays the license.

The About dialog can be accessed by clicking the About menu item in the navigation bar.

• Application Version: Displays the currently installed version of R2Clone.
• Update Check: R2Clone will automatically check for updates and display any pending updates here.
• You can also manually check for updates by clicking Check for Updates

If you are running the latest version, you’ll see a success message confirming this.

When a new version is available, you will see an update notification with a Download & Quit button. Clicking this button will open your browser to download the latest installer and quit the application so you can install the update.

If you are running R2Clone in a Docker container, the update will download and install automatically.

• A progress bar shows the download and installation progress
• Once complete, click “Restart Now” to restart the container and apply the update
